Edgar Kolesnik

Edgar joined Abris in 2014 and is a Partner and Head of the Warsaw office. He has led numerous transactions in the technology, business services, and specialist manufacturing sectors.

Before joining Abris, Edgar spent over seven years as a management consultant at Kearney, advising leading global companies, including ten Fortune 500 firms, across various sectors on strategic, operational, and organizational matters. He also gained experience at Highlander Partners, ING Investment Management, the National Bank of Poland, and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania.

Edgar holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and has completed executive education programs in corporate governance and leadership at IESE and Harvard Business School. He earned a CEMS Master’s in International Management (host school: Aalto University School of Business), a Master’s in Finance and Banking, and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the Warsaw School of Economics. He is fluent in English, Polish, Lithuanian, and Russian.

From 2021 to 2024, Edgar served as Vice President of the Polish Private Equity Association (PSIK) and has co-founded and co-chaired the PSIK Next Gen Committee since 2019.

Beyond his professional career, Edgar is passionate about sports, particularly basketball, international relations (having pursued courses at Warsaw University), and traveling – a passion he shares with his family.
