Renata Durcova

Renata joined Abris in May 2019 having spent four years in private equity, corporate M&A and investment banking.

Previously, she worked as an Investment Analyst in Genesis Capital, a Czech private equity fund, where she was involved in several transactions and in portfolio company management. Prior to this she worked as an Equity Analyst in Erste Bank, a leading CEE bank, where she was responsible for coverage of CEE equities and financial markets. She also has experience in corporate M&A strategy, working as an M&A Analyst in leading CE pharmaceutical retail chain Dr. Max, a portfolio company of Penta Investments.

In her personal life, she enjoys all kinds of sports (especially falling for running, tennis, squash or beach-volleyball if the weather is right), as well as spending time with her family, friends and her dog…or if too tired of all this – you can find her emerged in a book or two.

Renata has passed all three levels of the CFA program and is a graduate of CERGE-EI, Charles University in Prague, with a Master’s degree in Applied Economics. She fluent in English and Czech, and communicative in Polish.
