Dental Holding reinforces its footprint in Greece by incorporating the market leader into its group
This marks the 7th strategic addition for Dental Holding and consolidates its position in the Greek market
20 January 2026, Athens – Dental Holding has signed an agreement to bring Greece-based Memodent Group (Memodent S.A. and Oral Vision IKE), the country’s leading dental supplies distributor, under its corporate umbrella. After expanding into Croatia and Hungary in the first half of 2025, Dental Holding further solidifies its presence in the Greek market through the integration of Memodent, representing its seventh strategic expansion in the dental distribution sector. As the largest dental distributor in Central and Eastern Europe, Dental Holding now reinforces its leadership across five dynamic markets, with expected revenues exceeding EUR 130 million in 2026. This move aligns with the Group’s strategy to broaden its geographic footprint, invest in process automation, and leverage strong organic growth in core markets.
Founded in 2000 by Agamemnon Xenoudakis, Georgios Xenoudakis, and Vasilis Papadimitropoulos, and headquartered in Athens, Memodent is the leading dental supplies distributor in Greece, serving approximately 10,000 dental clinics and 1,500 dental laboratories with a comprehensive portfolio of products and services.
Charis Xenoudakis, co-founder of Memodent, said:
“We take great pride in the legacy our family and team have built over the years – one defined by trust, quality, and a deep commitment to our customers and partners. Joining forces with such a reputable and forward-looking Group ensures that this legacy not only continues but also evolves. With deep respect for the past and a clear vision for the future – and supported by their scale, expertise, and shared values – we are confident that together we will strengthen our foundation, foster a resilient and sustainable market, support sustainable development across the sector, and reach new milestones for years to come.”
Bogdan Tufeanu, CEO of Dental Holding, commented:
“This strategic move strengthens our capabilities and positions us to integrate Memodent within Dental Holding for sustained growth. We will continue to invest in automation and digital platforms to improve efficiency and deliver even greater value to our customers. I want to thank the founding family for building such a strong and respected organization. Together with Memodent founders, we will combine Dental Holding’s regional expertise, scale, and digital leadership with their deep local insights and operational excellence, accelerating growth and taking the organization to the next level.”

This reflects our commitment to building scale and creating long-term value through strategic integration, innovation, and operational excellence. We look forward to working with the founding team to strengthen the business and support its growth ambitions.”
Mihai Zamfir, Investment Director at Abris, commented:
“We have been considering expansion in Greece for some time, recognizing the market’s strong potential driven by improving macroeconomic indicators and solid fundamentals. This move strengthens Dental Holding’s position as the leading dental distribution platform in Central and Eastern Europe, enhances operational and commercial synergies, and demonstrates the group’s capacity to execute complex strategic transactions that drive sustainable growth and value creation.”
The founders of the Group will continue to manage operations in Greece and drive operational excellence.
The agreement is conditional upon securing customary regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in Q1 2026.
