Abris wins an award from ESG Investing

Abris Capital Partners has been named the Best Investment Fund in the Private Equity category at the ESG Investing Awards 2022, the world’s leading awards celebrating excellence in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research, ratings, funds and products.

London, 1 February 2022 – The ESG Investing Awards, now in their third year, are judged by an independent panel of experts from industry and academia. The Awards celebrate the most impactful products, funds and initiatives that are making a positive contribution towards the integrity, uptake and success of ESG investing.

“In 2021 we launched our ESG Universe responsible investment strategy – a comprehensive program of ESG initiatives across governance and culture, standards, education, and carbon neutrality that set a new bar in ESG best-practice. The ESG Universe 2023 retains the clear goal of assisting in risk mitigation and value creation across the Abris’ portfolio, but at the same time includes the ambitious target of achieving a carbon neutral portfolio by 2025 and puts in place net-zero action plans for each portfolio company, making Abris the first PrivateEquity house in Central Europe to commit to this goal. Today we are honored to be named the best ESG Investment Fund in the Private Equity at the ESG Investing Awards 2022. I am so proud”, says Monika Nachyla, Partner at Abris Capital Partners.

Matthew Clements, editor of ESG Investing, comments, “This year we have received nearly double the number of nominations from 2021 and our judges have been asked to assess finalists of outstanding quality across all categories. We have also seen a blossoming of new ESG fund types as well as a considerable expansion in the quantity and scope of ESG research and product offerings. This is a trend that is set to continue as ESG becomes more embedded in investment mandates globally, and sustainability issues move to the forefront of investors’ priorities. Many thanks to all our judges and congratulations to our winners and finalists.”
