Neil Milne

Neil co-founded Abris in 2006 with George Swirski. He is currently the Chairman of the Abris Partners’ Board and a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to establishing Abris, Neil spent 12 years as Managing Partner of Copernicus Capital Partners, a CE-focused private equity and asset management business he co-founded in 1994. Before establishing Copernicus, he was a Managing Director of York Trust, a UK-based private equity and financial services group which he joined after working as an investment banker in London for European Banking Company Ltd. Neil started his career as an investment analyst and fund manager at Standard Life Assurance Company in Edinburgh.

Neil is a former member of the board of the Invest Europe (then EVCA) and was Vice President of the Polish Private Equity Association.

In his personal life, Neil pursues a number of cultural interests and keeps active through his involvement in tennis, cycling and skiing.

Neil has a degree in economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s degree from the University of Nottingham.
